 A couple of questions:
 1. Is there a good free converter out there?
 2. If not, has anyone, through testing, determined which program
might be the best to purchase?

I know how and where to find them; however, none of them seem to
have a fully functioning trial version.

Thanks all over the place gang.

I've heard a program called Sound taxi can do this. I think it has a
limited functionality demo. I don't use it myself, so unfortunately I
can't say more. Hopefully, this will point you in a promising direction
though.

Sound taxi will do it. It cost only $19 but I believe well worth it.
