AudioAccessSM is an exciting new choice that
enables members to download RFB&D® audiobooks and
literature directly to a Microsoft Windows®-based computer
— and sync them with a compatible portable media player.

With AudioAccess, members can download all the
audiobooks and literature they need for an entire
year. And, by syncing the downloaded audio textbooks to
a portable media player, they can take them
wherever they travel. Now, it will be easier for
RFB&D members to use books at school, at home and on the go.

Audiobooks available through AudioAccess provide
the same high-quality sound production for an
excellent listening experience and are completely unabridged,
just like AudioPlus® books on CD. Members also
have access to the same great choice of titles
from the largest library of audio textbooks and literature
in the U.S.

Now members have choices to receive their
high-quality audiobooks through AudioPlus books
on CD with full DAISY navigation, or download them directly to
their Windows-based computer through AudioAccess
with page level navigation. Members can choose
any combination of services that they prefer, all included
in their Learning Through Listening® membership.

RFB&D continues to work on developing accessible
audiobooks to meet the evolving needs of our
members. RFB&D is looking forward to launching a downloadable
DAISY format in the near future which will play
on the latest generation of DAISY players. In
addition, our playback device vendors are expanding the range
of accessible devices compatible with Windows
Media and will play AudioAccess audiobooks. We
will keep you updated on products and services as they become
available, and you can check
www.rfbd.org
at any time for the latest product updates.

Here are some other important details about our new service.

• AudioAccess is fast and easy to use
• No specialized playback equipment is required
• Most people already have everything that is needed, including:
• Microsoft Windows XP or Vista
• High-speed Internet connection
• Compatible media player with common
functionality requirements, such as a Microsoft
Windows Media Player, version 10 or higher. (RFB&D audio textbooks
are not compatible with Apple® Macintosh computers and iPods at this time.)

The only other item required is our software,
RFB&D Download Manager, which can be installed
easily. Our 24/7 Technical Support Team is available if assistance
is needed.

Once installed on the computer, RFB&D Download
Manager takes care of everything. It creates and
labels each book page as a separate audio file for easy
identification. The Download Manager organizes
the files on the computer. Members can choose to
download an entire book or only sections of a book at a
time.

AudioAccess works in the same way as a commercial
book-selling website. All RFB&D members have to
do is log on to the RFB&D catalog website and select the
titles they want. The site prompts members
through the ordering process every step of the way.

RFB&D provides technical support for our members.
Our Technical Support Team is on hand 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
