Freeverb missing!

2009-05-11 Thread Roger Stewart
Freeverb is now completely missing from my Goldwave 5.51. I put in the
Direct X plug in and even tried re-activating Freeverb but it still
isn't showing up anywhere. Anyone have a clue?

Hmm if you installed directx plug-in it should be there. Did you check out
in the options under plug-ins if its there and if its checked?

2009-05-11 Thread Roger Stewart
Yep, I checked under Options and Plug Ins. Only thing that shows up
there is Direct X. Freeverb is no longer there. Also in the effects
menu plug ins is always disabled completely. I used to have the Winamp
Effect plug in there and it is gone now as well.

Hm???

Gold Wave and Freeverb

2009-01-15 Thread Bruce Toews
Does anyone know how to install the Freeverb plugin so that it can be used
with Gold Wave? I did it on my previous computer, but that was years ago
and I have forgotten what I did.

Anyone running XP having problems with the activate file needs to change the
path in it to c:\windows\system32 and it will work then.

You have to go into the folder where the zip file was extracted to and
choose the activate win 9X.bat file. If it works, you will get a dialog on
your screen saying registration is complete or something. Then you can go
into goldwave, options, plugins and directX. Check FreeverbX and press
 enter
on the OK button. You should then restart goldwave.

I've sorted out the Freeverb problem

2005-06-03 Thread Samuel
Hi, I have sorted out the Freeverb problem with Window Eyes. I came upon it by
accident. What I did was this. I went into the freeverb dialog and routed my
mouse pointer to the PC cursor with insert plus. What I did was used my
computer mouse, not my mouse cursor. I moved the ball slowly and when Window
Eyes said either dry mix wet, min damping max or small room size large, I
stopped moving the ball and did a middle click. You could also do a left click.
What it did then was it took me into the track bar for that parameter. The page
up, page down, home and end keys worked, but when I used one of the arrow keys,
it took me out of the track bar and back into the main window. I just had to do
a middle or left click again. Also, you can't use the arrow keys, you have to
do control, shift, alt and one of the arrow keys. To avoid being taken out of
the track bar, use your read current line command, insert numpad five. You can
continue previewing it while you are doing this by pressing F four. I hope that
will sort out your problem Tim and the problem that other people have been
having with Window Eyes. Samuel. No virus found in this outgoing message.

FreeVerb.

2005-05-03 Thread Jim Noseworthy
Hi Gang:

For those who are interested in acquiring the FreeVerb plug-in, listen up.

If you log on to my server at:
ftp.compuconference.com
you will find two FreeVerb programs: a VST plug-in, and a DirectX plug-in.
Both files are zip files. You will recognize them by the following names:
FreeVerb_DirectX.zip and FreeVerb2_VST.zip

Note for GoldWave users: you will need the DirectX version of the plug-in.
SoundForge users can use either version.

Those who require the VST version have only to unzip the file and copy the DLL
file in to their appropriate VST plug-in directory. The installation of the
DirectX version of the plug-in, on the other hand, is a little more
complicated: but not overly much so. Here are the steps for installing the
DirectX version:
1. Unzip the file to the directory in which you are going to store this
plug-in.
2. After unzipping the files, log on to that directory.
3. Highlight the appropriate batch file that corresponds to your version of
windows: 9X, Xp, or NT.
4. Press enter and the plug-in should be registered.
5. Take the necessary steps to have your recording software to recognize the
plug-in.

Note: all batch files have been updated to reflect the default installation
path for each version of the operating system.

If someone will furnish me with the default system files installation path for
millennium, I will include a batch file for that Operating system as well.

Direct downloads:
ftp.compuconference.com/FreeVerb_DirectX.zip
ftp.compuconference.com/FreeVerb2_VST.zip

Cheers.
