An Observation About Giveawayoftheday.com
Too bad the giveaway today is not the Gold Wave we know; but I must say the download and installation went flawlessly. As a first experiment with the Giveaway site I have to say I will check it out in the future, though not necessarily every day. grin I have heard they have had some accessible programs but the majority have not been so. Well, maybe this has motivated us to buy the real thing. grin Pam -Original Message- From: pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of Dave McElroy WA6BEF Sent: Saturday, May 23, 2009 3:34 PM To: 'PC Audio Discussion List' Subject: Giveawayoftheday.com Maybe this has been discussed, but has anybody noticed that on www.giveaway.com http://www.giveaway.com/ they are providing for just a few more hours a free copy of Goldwave pro? Some are saying that this is not the actual Goldwave and since I've never had it I don't know. Any thoughts on this? Thanks. Re: Giveawayoftheday.com
Houdy, Rick's right on both counts. I uninstalled it from my machine since I use gold wave from www.goldwave.com and until now have never heard of gold wave editor pro. I believe their website address is www.goldwaveeditor.com or something like that which I suppose makes a difference. tony - Original Message - From: Rick Harmon rickhar...@sbcglobal.net To: PC Audio Discussion List pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Saturday, May 23, 2009 6:37 PM Subject: Re: Giveawayoftheday.com It's not the goldwave that we all use. Re: Giveawayoftheday.com
To summarize what has been said so far: 1. This is not the same program that many of us use. 2. Someone tried it and found it to be quite inaccessible. 3. Gold Wave itself is a very inexpensive program and well worth the under $50 it costs for lifetime upgrades. RE: Giveawayoftheday.com
Yah, I've been meaning to buy the real Goldwave anyway so I will. Does it happen to come with two licenses or must I buy a copy for each PC desktop and laptop? Thanks. -Original Message- From: pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of Bruce Toews Sent: Saturday, May 23, 2009 3:36 PM To: PC Audio Discussion List Subject: Re: Giveawayoftheday.com To summarize what has been said so far: 1.
