GoldWave recording question
Hello Listers, I recently installed GoldWave version 5.70 on my windows 7 64 bit laptop. When I start recording, after a few seconds or so it brings up a control dialog with a play button a rewind button and so on. How can I keep it from doing this? Using jaws 13. Thanks Michael
Re: Goldwave recording question
Hi, Many thanks for the response. I've encountered a problem though, in that when I select my recording device, which is an external usb audio interface there doesn't appear to be a line-in option available. I'll try it on another pc and see what happens. Cheers, and thanks again. I've figured out how to make a recording, but the level of the recorded file is fairly low. I'd like to know how to ajust the line-in recording level, and also any tips on setting the levels accurately given that we don't have access to the peak meters. Any help much appreciated, as I wish to record something later this evening. Many thanks in advance, Tim. Re: Goldwave recording question
Hi! I own Goldwave but recording is about the one thing I've not done with the product as yet smile, the easiest way to adjust levels in Goldwave is to adjust them in your Volume Control settings, you'll find these under accessaries, Entertainment and Volume control. actually if you look in the Goldwave Manual, this is the suggested method that the author of the software talks about to set your recording levels, you can find the manual under Help in Goldwave, the manual is probably one of the best manuals I've seen in all my time on computers, well laid out and extremely easy to navigate.
