Hi listers,

First, I appologise if this question is off topic.
I don't know where else to ask...
I just started learning to use Movie Maker and need help with cutting and pasting. I have managed, with sighted help, to record a live music session which I'd like to edit and publish to support my work.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Hatch.

this can only be done if recording via software as long as you are using a live microphone the only way you can block your screen reader is to wear headphones.

Hi , if you are recording through software you can't block it out, because the what you hear option is turned in your computer. The only thing you can do is get an external synth so your screen reader voice doesn't come through.
If your recording through the sound board this won't be a problem.
Exsept what comes through the mike. You can edit that out by steping the time interval down to 1 second or so.

Listers,

I want to say, thanks! To all that helped me to get going with total
recorder. I am recording with mic, and streaming from the net.

One more thing, how to I stop the recorder from picking up my screen reader while recording?I remember hearing that in the tutorials. That still can be done, right? I like the idea of being able to record wile working in the
office and Jaws not being recorded.
