I have a connecsant AC Audio soundcard in my hp pavillion dv5220Ca notebook.
I like it and see no reason of getting an USB soundcard unless you need more
than 1 audio device.

 Hi,
I use an hp laptop (the DB9000T) and my vinyl recordings sound pretty good
to me. I am using the integrated sound to record. I think that it's an
conexant integrated audio device or something like that. Should I really
get an external USB soundcard instead of using the internal one? What are
the advantages? I am using sound forge to do the recording.

yeah, I think it does a great job! I don't think it down grades the audio

RE: Internal sound

2008-01-30 Thread Cornell Ligon

I meant to note, that notebook is a great unit - I was to buy my wife that
model, but she backed out not wanting to spend the money at the time.

BTW:
I noticed your headline at the bottom - the Mets have a much better chance now
with acquisition of Johanne santanna with Pedro as his mentor. Pedro was a
thorn in my Indians side in the late 90s when he was in his prime.

Sorry for off topic in message, but couldn't resist...

Cornell

Re: Internal sound

2008-01-30 Thread Tyler Wood
Which notebook? Mine, nod, I like it. The only problem I have in regards to
sound is the stario mix doesn't like being turned down, what I meant by that
was that it doesn't like to turn the volume down even if its at 0 percent,
putting it any higher than 4 percent makes the audio distort but doesn't
make it any louder.
