Hi,
Yah, Sibelius is simply fantastic, provided you order and install the Jaws
scripts that David Pinto compiled in cooperation with Sibelius. Without
them, useless. With them, not only completely transparent, but they also
supply a comprehensive and intuitive manual like you'll find nowhere else
that not only gets you going in a logical manner, but explains the whys and
wherefores of the many visual aspects that we could spend weeks in tiresome
questioning of erstwhile musician friends.
There are some who'll likely whine at the $300 cost of this add-on,
especially when Sibelius itself is about the same price, but lemmee tellya,
you'll almost wonder why they didn't charge more!

Unless my pricing is out of date, Sibelius is a little more expensive
than $300.00.

Sibelius Academic: retail $319, your cost $275.00, includes shipping
Sibelius Professional: retail $599, your cost $450.00, includes shipping

If you want Photo Score Scanning software with it there's a good deal
available.
It is regarded by many, sighted and blind, as the very best scoring
software and Sibelious speaking for $289.00 really brings it alive for JAWS
users.

Hi

Does anyone have experience using JAWS with music composition programs like
Sibelius? Are there any such programs that can be used by Blind people?
