Mike, I am looking at my sonny mini disk right now and this is what it says ; NETMD MD WALKMAN MZ-N420D Will the program that you mentioned in the below message work with this unit? However with 3.2, one can upload as often as one wants. SonicStage still isn't too accessible. Uploading is nevertheless absolutely doable with a screen reader. As with Ad-Aware, I can't read an important list, the list with all the tracks from the Minidisc. But there's a menu item called select all and after one executes it, one can try, whether it has worked by pressing F6. This will play all the selected tracks from the Minidisc through the sound card. One can then select a menu item to upload all selected files. I was asked, whether I wanted to convert the uploads to Wave files and if so, where I wanted to store them. All worked fine. A great new version of SonicStage! Now, HIMD-Recorders are a good option, when one is looking for a high quality audio recorder, with which one can also upload to the PC. *** Michael Lang *** ___ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ___ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ___ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ___ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

It should work with Sonic Stage, but you can't upload material from your minidisc player to the computer unless it's material you first downloaded from your computer to the minidisc. Re: My first Minidisc upload
Mike, I'll have to double check my exact model. This little gem came with sonic stage version 2.2 for transferring files from the computer to the disk player and back again I just thought that what you had mentioned with the new version would do the same, only I was hoping it would be better or rather easier. I'll have to wait till Monday to read the manual of this little beauty and check into it. Thanks for the heads up. Hi Ken, I wish I could say with certainty. I really haven't gotten to play with it much. it is a Sony net md mini disk player. I managed to get part of a book on it but it was incomplete so I was trying to get it off and try again but was having no luck. I don't know if it is because I am technologically challenged or if it was that the sonic stage 2.2 was just so unfriendly. I know that it is a menu driven unit, but I haven't gotten far enough to know if it will be easy to remember the order of operations. With lots of hope I am looking forward to giving the newer version a try. Maybe I'll actually get to play with my toy. Smile If I get it to work I will be sure to post it here.
