Re: Possible Problems With New Version Of Tapin Radio

2012-01-02 Thread chris hallsworth
Tom when you installed Tapin Radio did you go for the default or custom
install? Asking as the default installs this sweet IM and bulldog
toolbars, junk I have never even heard of, nor do I want to use smiles.
I therefore did a custom installation and all works fine. The yes and no
buttons are to do with station preset updates, so click yes to allow the
database to be updated. This screen doesn't read well with NVDA either,
but if I move away from it then return to it and let NVDA read the alert
for me then I know what it is asking for.

Hi Tom,

I can't anser all of your questions but your problem with the menus has
been fixed in version 1.50.1 of TapinRadio which is even newer than
version 1.50 that was released a few days ago. So you need version
1.50.1. I hope this helps.

Regards Steve.

Hello Steve and list: I apparently resolved it late last night and didn't
even know it! I've just now gone into Tapin Radio after reading where you
said there was another update (I see where I do have 1.50.1) works fine now!
Thanks..and yes; I did have to go into Add/Remove programs and found that
Bulldog tool bar (which I Promptly removed) I probably should look again
to make sure it's not back on my computer! I don't recall seeing anything
about a custom install, so I chose the quick install (like is
recommended) but as I said, it all appears to be good now! Thanks for your
responses and will let you know if I encounter anymore trouble!
