No; I don't think so. At least, if it can, I don't know how. That's why I always trim my wavs, before I compress them. I avoid programs like this like the plague because I don't like software that makes decisions for me concerning what I want to include or exclude while editing anything, but for the basic trimming task, I've always liked and used MP3Trim (http://www.mptrim.com). A little tricky to figure out, but very accessible.
