there is a third party power toy that does this. I have to locate where I
found it, but it works quite well creating iso files and burning them to
CD.

or direct copying CD's. the XP version only handles CD's, and the vista
version works with DVD's as well.

I will look for it and post t when I locate it.

Hello list: I know that AI can use Windows to burn something that is
already on a hard drive to a CD; what I wonder is..let's say I want to
copy one CD to another; can this be accomplished with Windows..or with
Windows Media Player? And if so..how is this done? I have something on
my computer called Sonic..but found it pretty much inaccessible with
Jaws..unless I just never found anyone who could show me how to do it!
So

I have deleted the shortcut that was on my desk top; all I have now of
Sonic is the program itself..but it really doesn't lead me to where I
need

to go to copy a CD! Since I have no other CD burning program on here, I
got to thinking Hey..maybe it's possible to just use the Windows Media
Player: to do this..but I am sure that there are folks here on this list
who can tell me if this is doable with that program or not! Thanks!

RE: Can Windows Copy CDs?

2010-05-29 Thread Walter Ramage
Hi. If you want an easy way to copy a disc rather than ripping and then
burning it then try Express Burn. The free version has the facility to
copy a disc. Also, Nero has that facility but you would have to pay for
that. Walter.

Hello Walter,
I have Express Burn.
I tried to use it to do exactly that last weekend, but couldn't get it to
work.

What did I do wrong?
Thinks.

High Tom,
I used to do that with Roxeo.
But I found that peace of software to be a pane in the but, so I quit using
it.

But Windows alone can't do that.
My best regards.
