Right. If you look in the archive of this list, I later said I was wrong about the audio meter's capabilities and that it is indeed very useful. Chris's documentation for it is concise and I'm dealing with some personal issues right now and haven't had time to play with it. Dave C. Re: GoldWave Version 5.65 is now Available
Version 5.65 seems to work fine on XP so far. However, I'm afraid that the scripts may not function very well anymore as they are pretty old. Guess the layout has changed a bit. GW isn't as verbose as it used to be, but as far as I know all keyboard commands are native so the loss of script functionality should only be a minor inconvenience. - Original Message - From: "Colin Howard" To: "PC Audio Discussion List" Sent: Friday, December 09, 2011 3:16 PM Subject: Re: GoldWave Version 5.65 is now Available Greetings, Do I understand this right, GW V5.65 will work ok with WindowsXP home and is the last version so to do? Re: GoldWave Version 5.65 is now Available
When you say "sound the same", I assume you are talking about volume? You can do this using the "match" effect in the volume processes list. I haven't tried this myself but I'm guessing it works by comparison, and you can choose the optimal volume based on the file that you feel has the correct amplitude. Someone might correct me on this, but GW help should fill you in with all details anyway. - Original Message - From: "Hotscot72" To: "'PC Audio Discussion List'" Sent: Saturday, December 10, 2011 9:29 PM Subject: RE: GoldWave Version 5.65 is now Available Hi, hope you don't mind, but I have another GoldWave question; I have a folder of mp3 files, and they do not all sound the same for some reason.
