there is a warning that should go with this. Go to the File menu in iTunes, choose ADd Folder to LIbrary, and select the iPod control folder. Thanks so much for the information. I already have the iPod set up for me to manually control music. I can't seem to find anywhere in the preferences to enable disk useage. I don't think it would make a difference but this is the iPod in my iPhone. I would appreciate any help.
