Jeff, right, and for me Autotune is the same sadly. But yes this is the kind
of software I'm talking about.

I've tried to use Detune with limited results. In fact, I'd say the results
were that it was inaccessible.

Hi all, has anyone had any success with pitch correction software, either as
a plug-in that will run with Sound Forge or some stand-alone application? I
thought it might be fun to put some old Yoko Ono trakcs through it smile

Re: Pitch Correction

2005-04-06 Thread Jerry Richer
Jonathan! What do you mean by Pitch Correction? Do you mean that
perhaps one would have a recording of some music and it plays back at a
pitch other than what it was originally produced at? Wouldn't the Pitch
Shift in Sound Forge take care of this to a resolution of 1 cent?

RE: Pitch Correction

2005-04-06 Thread Kevin Doucet
Hi,
I think I have heard autotune version 4 is more accessible but still don't
know if the usability warrants the price. Hope some one else can give me
more information.

Thanks.

goald wave has a nice pitch adjust for files and you can preview what you
are doing with 5.8. it seems that later versions than 5.8 are slower.

RE: Pitch Correction

2005-04-05 Thread Jonathan Mosen
Hi, sorry I'm not after pitch adjustment, but pitch correction. That is to
say software used to make fine adjustments to a vocal track to keep it
absolutely in key. It's used in modern recordings a lot, actually way too
much, but I've never found pitch correction that's accessible.
