Deleting files from a thumb drive is not an audio topic. You

I had a similar experience a few years ago with a file on a thumb drive that I 
couldn't erase in the normal way. A Google search turned up a tool specifically 
designed to delete that particular kind of file. I tried it, and it worked. 
Search for this file on Google, and you should find the answer.
