Re: Fwd: Question for you steve

2005-10-09 Thread Larry Higgins
I hope the problem is no more serious than this, but all you need do
is press the up and down arrow keys to lower and raise the volume,
not ctrl-arrow keys as you are apparently doing.

I've probably got one of the weirdest request you've ever scene. I know
you're a gui-talk list member as I've seen your post there many many times.
Anyway, I'm writing because perhaps you can help me. I'm having a winamp
problem. No one from the gui-talk list has been able to answer it. I don't
want to go join the winamp list to get a simple answer to a question. So
maybe you know someone who can answer it.
 Here it is.
I have about 120 cds in my winamp library. When I press the play button on
any of them no sound comes out though I think winamp may be trying to play
them. All of the music was playing three weeks ago. So I just can't figure
out the problem. I've pressed control comma and control period to raise the
volume but nothing happens. Can you get back to me on this. Thanks.

Re: Fwd: Question for you steve

2005-10-08 Thread Chris Skarstad
Hi. you don't hit the control button to raise the volume, you hit the up
and down arrow keys to raise and lower the Winamp volume.
That might be the reason why the volume isn't raising.
