Understandable, but there's gotta be a way to get from the my music
collection part to the main player, and things like stopping, playing,
forward and rewind, stuff like that.

Hello, there really aren't any special commands. All you do is move the
combo box and use the program just like a normal open file box. It's
completely accessible.
