Re: program for correcting jitter errors

2009-02-19 Thread Ray
There's another program called Exact Audio Copy, I think. This is said to
rip Cds very accurately.

Suggest you do a Google for this program.

Ray.

  Hello list,
I am in the process of ripping some audiobooks that are on cd, and I am
encountering some files that contain jitter errors after they are ripped.
Does anyone know of programs that have the ability to correct these
errors?
  Thanks in advance.
  Sylvia.

Re: program for correcting jitter errors

2009-02-19 Thread Timothy
CDex can also do this.
1. Open the settings window with the f4 key.
2. Switche to the CD Drive tab.
3. Shift+Tab to the Ripping Method combo box.
4. Switch to one of the Paranoia modes. Personally, I use Paranoia, Full
whenever I encounter an error.
5. Tab to the OK button, and activate it.
6. Select the track(s) you want to correct, and rip thiem. You can select
with standard selection commands.
NOTE: Don't forget to put the Ripping Method back to Standard when done.
When Paranoia is on, the rips are slower.

HTH,
Timothy
