Thanks Rob for an excellent Job. I'd like to explain that once and a while you may run in to a strange problem with mp3 direct cut. Have you heard an mp3 that has a loud tick at the beginning of the file? I had one this morning and mp3 direct cut refused to play the file. I could page up and down but I couldn't fix this file with mp3 direct cut as the loud tick was stopping the file from playing. It ticked and then there was a second and the music would start but mp3 direct cut couldn't fix it so I had to take it in to Sound Forge and fix it their. Mp3 Direct cut is a fine editor but I would use it in conjunction with your other editing tools. It seems like MP3DirectCut does have trouble with CRC errors in some files. This is one drawback in my opinion.
