Replay Converter Replay Music products updates news

2009-03-30 Thread Petro T. Giannakopoulos

Latest update news for Replay Converter and Replay Music are below. When the
new update for Replay AV 8 is released you will get the latest version of
replay converter included so for now do nothing and continue to use what you
have there. That's all I know. The developer added audio alerts to Replay
Converter's settings. I do communicate with him from time to time.

The below info is also on my blog at
http://blindreplay.blogspot.com

Replay Converter 3.32
Yesterday, March 29, 2009, 2:21:22 PM
- Added new audio alert option in settings.

Replay Music 3.56
Tuesday, March 17, 2009, 5:00:30 PM
- Fixed a registration code problem where a false expired code error was
appearing for some users.

Replay Converter 3.31
Tuesday, March 17, 2009, 4:48:52 PM
- Fixed a frame size bug where if two or more videos of different frame sizes
were converted, the orignal frame size setting would not work properly.

Replay Converter 3.32 audio alerts settings response from developer to me

2009-03-30 Thread Petro T. Giannakopoulos

Petro saids
Wait for the new Replay AV 8 whenever it comes out and you will get the latest
version of Replay Converter included and installed at the same time.

The developer said

You are very welcome. When I added the audio alerts I had you and the blind
community in mind. There will actually be another update to Replay
Converter coming soon. In the next version, I decided to add different
audio alerts depending if a conversion was successful or not. The version
that is out now just alerts when a conversion process finished no matter if
it was successful or not.

Replay Converter 3.12 sounds news from programmer

2008-11-03 Thread Petro T. Giannakopoulos
Developer writes:
Hi Petro,

Thanks for sharing the feedback. I was thinking about bringing the sound back
as some other users miss it as well.

Since Replay Converter can do batch conversions, would you like to hear a sound
after each batch conversion or at the end of all the batch conversions? Or
both?

I know that some sight users might become annoyed of the sound, so I would
probably make it a setting in Replay Converter that allows you to turn the
sound on or off.

Thanks,

Petro says:
Applian is a great company and listens. I told him to offer the settings option
to turn on or off the sounds. Everyone will be happy sighted and blind this
way.

Thanks for your response Chris,

I went ahead and purchased the software, of course with the 30 day money
back guarantee.

Do you have any quick steps on how to convert a DVD to a smaller format
so my son might be able to watch it on a Zen x-fi?

Thanks much,

I went to the Try It site for Replay converter at
http://www.replay-converter.com/replay-converter/demo.php, and it said:

Try Replay Converter before you buy! Download Replay Converter right
now, and use all the program features. This demo is fully functional,
except for a watermark added to videos, and audio conversions are
limited to 90 seconds. Version 3 will burn DVD's, has faster conversions
than version 2, and more.

You can still download version 2.8, but I don't think it's free. I think
it has a trial with the same kind of limitations. It did when I
downloaded it before 3.1 came out. Therefore, I don't think it's free,
but you can definitely try it out.

The Replay Converter 3 interface is not quirky in my opinion. When you

RE: Replay Converter ripping DVDs to mp4 more (Mosen)

2008-10-03 Thread Jonathan Mosen
Hi petro, I think the buttons should be in the tab order, rather than having
to down-arrow. Down-arrowing or using the very good shortcut support does
work, but if you could tab across to all the different buttons, it would be
more standard. That said, it is a brilliant piece of software and it does
work really well for DVD ripping.

Replay Converter 3 ripping DVDs for audio

2008-08-17 Thread Petro T. Giannakopoulos
When Applian Technolgies releases the new Replay AV 8 that will include Replay
Converter 3 you will be able to:

Rip DVDs to another format like .wmv
Burn CDs and DVDs to
CD, DVD PAL and DVD NTSC formats

Read the user guide when it comes out the new Replay AV. I do not know when
this will be released.

I was able to rip a DVD to .wmv and then to .mp3 format. Whether it can convert
straight from .vob file to .mp3 I am not usre as I haven't tested this that far.

And Replay Converter and Replay AV are accessible.

Just letting you know there are other options out there.

Replay converter 3 beta tip

2008-03-17 Thread petrakigianos-giasou
If you have an issue with Replay Converter 3 when it is publicly
released in not making a audio CD for you try these steps:

From the developer:
I was able to test your MP3 files and at first I did get the
same error that you did. The error is occurring when the MP3
files are being converted before the actual burning process.
But once I did the following steps, I was able to burn your MP3
files to an audio CD:

1) Go into Options in Replay Converter.
2) Select Audio Conversion Options.
3) Uncheck the MP3 box so that Replay Converter does not use
DirectShow to convert MP3 files.
4) Try another burn.

Replay Converter 3.0 beta (For Sunshine)

2008-03-10 Thread petrakigianos-giasou
The response from Applian Technologies:

Yes, if you install Replay Converter 3.0, it should install over
the top of
RC 2.80. You will not need to uninstall all of Replay A/V, to
uninstall
Replay Converter 3.0. If you would like to uninstall Replay
Converter 3.0,
then you can just uninstall Replay Converter 3.0 seperately.
However, you
will need to install either RC 2.80 again or RC 3.0 again to
have Replay A/V
converter files again.

And if you don't like RC 3.0 you uninstall just RC 3.0 beta and

 question about replay converter

 Hi all!
I just got my copy of replay converter, and I'm having a slight problem. I

set some ogg files to convert to 64 kbps mp3 files. The conversion went
 off
without a hitch, so I went and listened to one of the files in Winamp.
Noticing that the file didn't sound as clear as it should have, I checked
the file info box, only to find that Replay converter had in fact only
converted my file at 32 KBPS instead of 64, which is what I had
 specifically
selected. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem? Thanks!

Not knowing a lot about real technical things I'm not sure what you mean

What is the demo restriction? I could pretty well get rid of Goldwave demo

real fast on the video, Imtoo extracts the audio to wav in about a minute

hi bruce,
an advantage of replay would be that it can extract audio from some video
files. If you have real player installed, it will also convert their formats
as well. other than that, i'd stick with EZ CD because it supports a whole

question about replay converter

2006-06-11 Thread Allison Mervis
Hi all!
I just got my copy of replay converter, and I'm having a slight problem. I
set some ogg files to convert to 64 kbps mp3 files. The conversion went off
without a hitch, so I went and listened to one of the files in Winamp.
Noticing that the file didn't sound as clear as it should have, I checked
the file info box, only to find that Replay converter had in fact only
converted my file at 32 KBPS instead of 64, which is what I had specifically
selected. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem? Thanks!
Allison

Works with JAWS 7 and Window Eyes. I am a JAWS user here.

I am not sure if my first message made it to the list. Sorry for
the duplication.

Installing the software is very easy. 3 steps and all buttons
are read to you.

You can uninstall the program if necessary by going to the
Control Panel's Add/Remove area or via Programs menu. Standard
ways to uninstall.

I do not make any money on the software.

Tip for JAWS 7 users: My opinion only.

Run Replay Converter. Do a Insert+V, press letter G for
Graphics, use space bar until you hear labeled, tab once to
close button and space bar on the
close button.

When you finish using Replay Converter make sure you set your
graphics to your preferred settings. I have it at all.

Re: question about replay converter

2006-06-11 Thread Christopher J Chaltain
Are you still running Replay Converter in demo mode? I noticed that I
could only convert video files to 32K MP3's until I purchased a copy of
Replay Converter myself.
