Re: Talking MP3 player review

2004-08-25 Thread Tony Bernedal, SM5XGP
The player is from Archos but noone is selling them here in sweden, they
are to bad was the answer when I asked a dealer. The funny thing is that
the Rockbox team who make the firmware for the archos player that was
reviewed on ACBRI is located here in sweden. So maybe we can get a player
here anyway, but I don't know how. The firmware for it is no problem but
the player is.. To bad for it looked very nice when I listen to the review
that John Gurd made. I hope he can make it availble for you who missed his
show.

I don't know if this show was archived at the ACB radio site, but thought
I
would pass this to the list. Perhaps those interested could contact this
person directly for a copy of his review. HTH

On the UK Alternative I'll be giving a live demo of the only model of
portable 20GB mp3 player in the world that can be made to talk. As such
it's
the only truly accessible one for the blind. Of course I'll be playing
lots
of great pop and alternative rock. So catch me on ACB Radio Interactive on
Thursday evening in Europe or in the afternoon in the US (times below).

You can send me an email during the show at this address:
