Hi Gerry,

I don't know if you have received any answers to your question yet, but I
didn't notice any on the list.

What you need to do is:

1. Start Winamp.

2. Press ctrl+p to open the preferences menu.

3. arrow up to file types and tab to the list of associated file types.

4. Arrow to WMA and press space to unselect it.

5. Tab to restore file associations at Winamp startup.  If it is checked,
uncheck it.

6. Tab to close and press space to return to the Winamp main window.

Hopefully this will solve your problem.

I have or had Winamp and Windows Media installed on my system.  Winamp
prevents some Windows Media stations from playing successfully.  How do I
make these two players peacefully co-exist on my machine?
