You have to sign up and you then download their chat client. I hope to talk

I will do my best.

Fwd: Our Place Chat Rooms

2007-04-20 Thread Steve Pattison
To get to these voice chat rooms you need to go to the ACB Radio home
page at www.acbradio.org and then activate the Our Place link on
that home page. -Steve.

Hi Folks

Good news!! Our chat rooms are back.

Our three chat rooms, Speak Easy, Politics and Radio rooms are back. I also
intend to bring back the Music Room, just as soon as I've spoken to Talking
Communities about it.

When you click on a room from the Our Place page, you'll be presented with
a page on which are two links. If it's your first time you need to click on
the first link and allow the software to run, rather than download. Running
the software will also download it to your machine so there's no need to do
it again after the first time.

Please familiarize yourself with the menu system as there have been some
changes, but on the whole it works much the same as did the old software -
you still press the control key to speak.

I'm sure there are going to be people that want to know why we couldn't have
stuck with the old familiar rooms. I must point out that the older software
is not being supported and we have been obliged to make the change. If you
have any problems or complaints concerning the running of the sofware,
please write to me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] letting me know exactly what the
problem is, and I'll make sure that Talking Communities know of any problem,
after all, they, like us want you to get the maximum pleasure from your
visit and need to know if anything is not as it should be.

Enjoy the rooms. There's plenty of room for all.

Chrissie

You do not need to register. You simply put in the username you are
