I don't have this trouble on my XP computer, but with my 7 laptop I installed
Winamp but had to uninstall because some things are going wrong. The big thing
is that at times I'll hear this ding or almost chime-type sound and a message
Jaws will say something like c:/users/ and maybe the song's name. I have to
close that dialog and try again and usually it will cooperate. I actually had
this occur with Media Player too on a couple occasions, but it's mostly with
Winamp. Like it's rejecting or just refusing to open some files unless you try
again.

I am also perplexed that my perfectly good plug-ins don't work on the Windows 7
machine--the DSP ones I have for normalizing volume. So if new ones have come
out that will do this job I'd appreciate help. I don't know if having a light
or full version makes a difference with these situations, and I do know the
install is quite a bit different than the previous winamps.

Hope someone can help.

Joanne
