He was a little character, I believe on Laugh In, the comedy show, in the sixties; he used to say: Well, ya can call me Ray, ya can call me J, but ya doesn't have to call me Johnson! Just a little bit of esoteric humor; probably before your time! He wore a Fedora hat and a Zoot Suit! Sorry if I puzzled you, but, your use of the word ya spurred me on! -Mac- - Original Message - From: Home Sweet Home [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio discussion list. pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Saturday, July 15, 2006 10:11 PM Subject: Re: file associations in winamp whatever that means! - Original Message - From: Mac Norins [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio discussion list. pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Friday, July 14, 2006 9:53 PM Subject: Re: file associations in winamp But ya doesn't have to call me Johnson! - Original Message - From: Home Sweet Home [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio discussion list. pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Friday, July 14, 2006 9:32 AM Subject: Re: file associations in winamp but there's a strange happening in winamp5.24. and that is, that when you choose open file or add files to playlist, .wav is not available when you have all supported types chosen under 'files of type. ya have to choose 'all files! and ya have to do that everytime ya wanna open or add a .wav file! that's annoying! how can that be fixed? might i add that wave is indeed selected in file associations. - Original Message - From: Bruce Toews [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio discussion list. pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Wednesday, July 12, 2006 7:37 PM Subject: Re: file associations in winamp It's in the preferences dialog, control+p. Re: file associations in winamp
Open Winamp and hit ctrl-p for preferences./it should land you at File Types, but if it doesnt, tab till you get to it. It is a list box and you just check the ones you want and uncheck the ones you don't want Winamp to play. - Original Message - From: Paul Oeser [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Wednesday, July 12, 2006 7:21 PM Subject: file associations in winamp When I installed the last update to winamp it asked me what types of files I wanted to use winamp as the default for such as wav and mp3.
