Re: help with totle recorder.
Hi, make sure you set the recording settings to 44.1 khz and a high bitrate. Also check all volume controls. Help with totle recorder?
Hello Listers, I want to put totle recorder back on my computer however, I need some instructions. I tell you what, please just tell me what I need to do so I may use Jaws while running totle recorder. I remember the last time I posted I was told something about choosing software? Okay, this time I will be ready to do it, I really need it. I'm hoping once I learn the standard version, I can move on higher ground in audio with totle recorder. Thanks! Carliss
Re: Help with totle recorder?
I'm not sure what you mean, its easy with the latest version. You just choose the default options in the instal, then it will be fine when you select software or soundboard. Don't change the software driver dearing instal as that may confuse you. The latest total recorder is version 8.5 and the pro is the best ever. Goodluck and feel free to ask if you get stuck. Now am I wrong? Or am I right in bthinking that if you use the standard version of Total Recorder (which I do) you _cannnot_ record and have Jaws speak anything? Re: help with totle recorder.
Hi, the automatic gain control can be found in the options menu by pressing alt plus o. Also make sure that all your sliders are set to 100 percent, then you can bring them down if the recording is to lowd. Re: help with totle recorder.
The automatic level control is under the options menu. Make sure you're recording in software, not soundboard mode in recording source and parameters, also in the options menu. And, if you're using Windows 7, there are settings that can make recordings sound very bad, but I can't remember them offhand. I'm still using XP until MS cuts off support next year.. - Original Message - From: Carliss seeje...@satx.rr.com To: pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Friday, December 13, 2013 12:19 PM Subject: help with totle recorder.
