Re: lost my DVD drive
Oh, I did run the hardwar wizard. One of the tips was to remove the drive from device manager and reinstall it but that trick didn't work. - Original Message - From: Brandon Hicks [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio discussion list. pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Tuesday, January 30, 2007 8:14 AM Subject: Re: lost my DVD drive Hi, I've seen this happen to mine. RE: lost my DVD drive
Hi, I'm having a similar problem with one of my older computers. For some odd reason my CD rom will not spend or detect that a CD is in the drive. I ran reg scrub to see if that would fix it but it didn't . I ran check disk, a virus scan, scanned for spyware and everything and it still don't work. I'm wondering if it's a driver problem but I don't know what type of drive it is or where to find the drivers for it. Anyone have any other ideas? Otis Blue [EMAIL PROTECTED] BBS Press Service, Inc. Re: lost my DVD drive
Thanks Brandon. I wish I had thought about using the hardware wizard. I'll do that if the DVD drive goes away again. Wonder why it goes missing. - Original Message - From: Brandon Hicks [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio discussion list. pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Tuesday, January 30, 2007 8:14 AM Subject: Re: lost my DVD drive Hi, I've seen this happen to mine.
