Station Play List Studio
I've downloaded a demo copy of Station Play List Studio but I can't get it to play anything. Does Winamp have to be installed before Studio will play? I do not have Winamp on my computer. Thanks, Tom To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org
Re: Station Play List Studio
Winamp is not involved. Tell us more about your setup. Did you, for instance, tell Studio what sound device to use in the Output page of the Options dialog which isn't really a dialog? play list studio
It has taken a while but I'm considering station play list studio. I've used play list creator before and have liked it. I think I've gone as far as I can with ots DJ or currently OTS AV DJ. I have a few questions about play list studio. How do you set it up to stream audio? Is there any way to get it to automatically adjust the gain on the mic? I also assume that you don't have to take the audio from the sound card since it act like OTS DJ does when using the mic? I like the way it mixes audio and the processing sounds good. Hi, Paul: On Wed, 26 Mar 2008 15:29:50 -0500, you wrote: I have a few questions about play list studio. How do you set it up to stream audio? You can do it in one of two ways. You can either stream directly through Studio, or you can use an external streamer such as Winamp and the Shoutcast plug-in, Oddcast from oddsock.org, Simplecast from Spacial Audio, or the Station Playlist solution called Streamer, which is a wrapper around the Oddcast plug-in. If you use one of these solutions, you use the what-you-hear or mixer option of your sound card's recording properties because you'll be using your sound card's microphone or line-in input facility to provide microphone audio. This, by the way, is the only way to broadcast and not get the Ots echo effect. Is there any way to get it to automatically adjust the gain on the mic? Everything goes through the audio processor DSP of your choice--Sound Solution, Octimax, whatever you use. I also assume that you don't have to take the audio from the sound card since it act like OTS DJ does when using the mic? See above.
