Hi Denis, press shift and left or right bracket keys to hear audio data up to either start or end marker. Use control right and left arrow, or shift right or left arrows to move either marker. I can't recall which keystrokes do which marker. Moving the arrow keys is merely moving the cursor through the data, it is not moving the markers. I am not totally certain about the control and arrow keys, that may be control and shift. Sure as eggs are eggs, somebody will correct my error. Hello, I am having a problem with Goldwave. I have tried to record a stereo file of a bit from a CD, just to play with. The track is in stereo, but when I try to play the portion I have recorded, it comes out in Mono. I have selected to do stereo in the new sound dialog, but it doesn't work. Why is this? Re: recording problem with goldwave
Hi Betsy, also, some sound cards have check boxes that allow you to mix your inputs, just as you can in the playback properties. If this is the case, you must check everything that you don't want recorded, such as the wave out and the stereo mix, which some sound cards call what you hear! Re: Problem with Goldwave
You can find the control panel by pressing start, then S until you hear "settings". Then press c for control panel. If you don't have "What you hear," you may want to go into the options menu on the recording dialog box, either that or properties, and see if it's on the list of options to select. If so, check it and press OK. If not, I'm unsure as to how you can record what you want to record.
