recordingskype calles with gw connect, windows 7, and goldwave
I'm runnning the latest version of goldwave, windows 7, and the latest version of gw connect. Is there any way for me to record both sides of the skype conversation using goldwave and gw connect? My sound card in windows 7b does not have the steromix or what you hear option.
Re: recordingskype calles with gw connect, windows 7, and goldwave
Hi Tim, I never recorded Skype calls on windows, but I want to through out a possibility that Total Recorder might do the trick. I really don't know for sure, but I have used total recorder for recording streaming youtube music before. TR isn't the easiest thing to configure correctly, but it works as expected once you spend some time tinkering with it. I haven't googled this, but it might be worth a quick search to see what else is out there for the task you want to accomplish. Keep in mind that you could configure hardware to do this. You'll probably spend more money on mixers that way, though. Not to mention a digital recorder. Hi Tim, Use the actual Skype client with a program called Pamela. You may have to do some mousing around in Pamela, but it's useable. - Original Message - From: tim cumings thcumi...@comcast.net To: PC Audio Discussion List pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Wednesday, January 29, 2014 7:14 PM Subject: recordingskype calles with gw connect, windows 7, and goldwave I'm runnning the latest version of goldwave, windows 7, and the latest version of gw connect. Hello Tim: To my knowledge, in the absence of Stereo Mix or similar in your sound card, you cannot record Skype conversations with Gold Wave; you can however, do it using the Pro version of Total Recorder.
