RE: Replay AV 8.03 Podcasts sent to Blind Cool Tech

2007-01-18 Thread Stephen Guerra
You should think about merging all the files in to one large file as that
indeed is a podcast, the pieces you have been putting out are episodes

Hi
Earlier today I sent my podcasts to Blind Cool Tech via FTP and now it's up
to Larry to add the recordings to his Blind Cool Tech feed so you all can
get my recordings by subscribing to teh Blind Cool Tech feed.

I will continue to post to this list the URL for each podcast I have on
Replay AV 8.03 as some of you do not use a podcatcher.

Hi Stephen,

What he actually needs to do is get these episodes linked as individual
posts on a blog then make sure that's distributed via an RSS feed. I'm in
private correspondence with Petro and I think we are working toward that
goal now.

Re: Replay AV 8.03 Podcasts I did

2007-01-10 Thread Gary Petraccaro
I'm interested in being able to switch from .ASF to .MP3 after recording on an
as needed basis. Is there a way to do this with any of their current products?
I wrote tech. support about this, but, so far, no answer.
Thanks.

  Hi All
I did 9 podcasts for Applian Tech the makers of Replay AV 8.03
applications. They have the mp3 files that I did. I am not a
professional narrator/speaker but I did the recordings anyway.
This will educate both Applian Tech and new users of Replay AV
8.03. For sure Applian Tech has been listening to me for 3 years
now. I made the recordings for hobby only and I make no money
with it. I did the recordings because Applian Tech has been
listening to me whether its by email or mp3 recordings I have
made for them to listen to JAWS and how I am interacting with
  their applications.

The recordings are not complete. They will lead you in the right
direction on how to get started with Replay AV 8.03. The menus.
I have word RAV 8.04 will be released soon. I may do more
recordings if any of you need one to be done but I can't
  guarantee it.

I will let you know the URL where you can download the
recordings on Replay AV 8.03 I did as soon as I get permission
  from Applian Tech.

replay AV and podcasts

2006-03-09 Thread joanne
I am using Replay AV successfully with the radio shows and absolutely loving
it. I do have a question about podcasts though. First, maybe I'm still not
clear on exactly what they are. I thought I could set podcasts to download
every day with AV but most of the podcasts I want won't automatically
download the way regular radio shows will. Now I did go to the checkbox
yesterday that says to check at certain times for podcasts, and that did
bring some of my previously not-downloaded podcasts in. But now what
happens is, it checks every day at a certain time and it brings down
podcasts I've already heard. For instance, instead of today's broadcast
it'll bring down today's, yesterday's and maybe the day before--ones I
already heard. How do I get AV to check and only bring down the newest
podcast? Thanks.

Re: replay AV and podcasts

2006-03-09 Thread dennis
i have been trying to figure out the same thing. press enter on the podcast
in question. now go to the output tab. you can set how many days it keeps
epasodes as well as how many epasodes to downloasd at one time. clear the
number field and type in 1. now you will only get the most recent podcast.
it will still however download the same one every day until a new one comes
abailable. this is what i can't seam to figure out yet.
