I haven't had problems with it taking over. Winamp is still the default 
player. I use media player to rip CD's to MP3's it does a good job of that.

I would like to try windows media version 10, but, as I use win amp as my 
default player, I don't want media 10 to take over.
If I install media 10, how do I stop it from being my default player and 
just be able to use it when I choose?
