just for the record.
macosx106-amd64.pdlab.puredata.info points to 141.54.159.89.
there was no DNS-record for macosx106-x86_64.pl.pd.i, that's why it
resolved to the fallback address (puredata.info).

i have now added macosx106-x86_64 as an alias to macosx106-amd64 to
the DNS.

i'm *not* very regularily monitoring subpages [1] to see whether new
hosts have appeared or disappeared, or whether their IP address or
name have changed. i very much rely on the people forwarding this info
to me, so i can add it to the DNS.
i'm aware that this has not been made explicit anywhere (esp. not on
[1]), which probably explains why nobody does it.

2013/1/23 Max abonneme...@revolwear.com

Sorry for that. i'm in Buffalo, NY at the moment, so I could not switch it
back on myself. It is online again now. As Hans said, it is a Workstation
too, and for some reasons there are students actually working sometimes. A
big sticker on the machine says:
PLEASE NEVER SWITCH ME OFF, THIS MACHINE NEEDS TO BE ALWAYS RUNNING!
but apparently sometimes people are absent minded and do switch it off.

Summary: Portaudio-Mouse problem on Win32

Initial Comment:
Patco :
On win32, I've got many pd patches that makes the GUI not working with mouse
binding,
I can not move any object on the patch, only the arrows can make it move when
it's selected.

It's still hard to tell where does it come from without passing hours opening,
modifying,
closing, and opening again patches that makes pd GUI doing this, maybe one
day...

(...)

I think I've found out where this problem comes from...
It's related with audio, asio particulary...portaudio is still a big problem
here...

In some words, when asio doesn't work the mouse binding is out.

Summary: Selected audio output tick disappearing - win32

Initial Comment:
When turning off DSP, the tick left of the selected audio output mode
disappears (ASIO or MMIO). It reappears once you re-enable DSP.

[PD-dev] pdlab chroots: more distros/release to build/test with

2013-01-24 Thread Hans-Christoph Steiner

The PdLab Debian servers also host some chroots that you can use with the
pddev account. I added a blurb about them on the wiki:
http://puredata.info/docs/developer/PdLab

Currently these are available:

Debian:
 squeeze-i386
 wheezy-i386

Ubuntu:
 precise-i386
 precise-amd64
 raring-amd64

Raspbian for RPi:
 raspbian-wheezy-armhf

I'm running my first full Pd-extended build for Raspbian on that new chroot,
I'll post it when its done tomorrow.
