there is poor support for pd-extended on windows available.
unless somebody makes it available. (open-source-philosophy)

i rather recommand getting ubuntu as a dualboot on your pc,

 Hi !

it seems, that there's no Unauthorised packages for Windows on the
 puredata.info

 http://puredata.info/community/projects/software/unauthorized/releases/0.0.20101105

I can find only some of the objects in pd-extended 42.5..

Anyway the rest of the objects are described in manual and have help-files
in EXTRA directory, but not the objects themselfs...

 No .dll's for them .

 Here: http://ydegoyon.free.fr/software.html - the author's page - no
 compiled versions for Win 7.

Mr. Degoyon wrote to me, that he can't help: he's not Win user and he
 never uses pd-extended...

So can anyone just upload a working version of Unauthorised for Windows to
 the site ?

Or maybe just send some missing .dll's in attaches ? do they exist ?
 Really interesting objects.

 For example:

 cooled~

 exciter~

 filterbank~

 formant~

 graphic-mp3amp~

 mrandtab

 pianoroll

 playlist

 probaliser

 spigot~

 sonogram~

 sonograph~

 and many others ...

 Thanks ! serg

Hello, in most recent releases of pd-extended-0.43 you should find all
unauthorized dll's,
you will find it at this URL:

http://autobuild.puredata.info/auto-build/latest/

no need to change your whole system for a few objects.

I think you have to issue a make clean before re-building. Anyway

anyhow, would you mind building Release? that's the configuration i

sure. by Release you mean the 93.3.(?)
i took it from the Gem page. the date is 2010.

upgraded the vs2003 to 2008
build only GEM:
LNK1104 cannot open file libjpeg.lib

probably this should be in Gemlibs which is not part of the package.
the notes i found about Gemlibs did not point to a 'solution'.

a link on the page: what libraries does GEM use? to simtel.net
takes forever to respond at a download request.

sorry if it starts to be annoying, but i really would appreciate a good
ending of this efforts.

I just tested today's build with Language Switch, it shows 28 languages. Try

[PD] servo pinmode on [arduino]

2012-01-28 Thread Matteo Sisti Sette

Hi,

When using [arduino] and setting a digital pin in servo mode, the
input range that corresponds to the full 180-degree range of the servo
is 0 to 0.7 instead of 0 to 1.

Is it:
A - that different servo motors have different specifications
B - a wrong scale factor in [arduino], or
C - a wrong scale factor in the arduino code itself (i.e. the
StandardFirmata sketch or the servo library)

?

I know I can easily work around it by rescaling in Pd...

thanks

why?
all the dependency stuff (e.g. quicktime,...) is factored out into

use Pd-0.43 or Pd-0.42 throughout...it seems like you are using Pd-0.43

fork of the last GPLed version of unauthorized that I made work with the

The GPL doesn't allow for any restrictions like which OS it runs, so a Windows

This fork I just did should be easy to build on Mac:
https://github.com/eighthave/PuRestJson

Just have Xcode installed, and then do this in the terminal:

cd ~/Library/Pd
git clone https://github.com/eighthave/PuRestJson purest_json
cd purest_json
make

Then you can [import purest_json] and check out the examples in the Help
