have you tried 13+10 instead of 13 only ?

I second that, Acer beamers have the same documentation problem.

Are you using the right cable? Does it work with any other program?

Re: [PD] comport questions

2012-12-03 Thread Pagano, Patrick
I tried with two separate cables, to make sure
One was a gigaware usb-A-serial cable 26-949, the other was a simple dongle one
that windows 7 setup automatically
I have even hooked it up to an XP box that had 2 dedicated serial ports,
changed the serial cable extension just in case
Still with no response
I am at a loss
Currently it's hooked up to a windows XP box running pd-extended 42-5 and
hooked directly from the serial port to the BenQ projector
The port was previously hooked up and working with a gentner echo suppressor so
I know it works

I would check to see if the cable is a modem or a printer cable (does it
cross over Rx - Tx or not?). Also handshaking may be required (RTS/CTS
or DSR/DTR).

[PD] [readanysf~] on OS X

2012-12-03 Thread José Manuel Páez Moncaleano
Hi I'm trying to use the [readanysf~] object to make a playlist on an open
virtual radio project

The fact is that I've tried so hard to get Pd recognized the library but it
seems it's just not working
I've made a path
I've located the folder on ~/Library/Pd
I've created a new startup command
I've tried to called it with [import]
I've made a copy folder on inside the extra folder

The thing is when Pd runs it shows me the next error

Library/Pd/readanysf~/readanysf~.pd_darwin:
dlopen(/Library/Pd/readanysf~/readanysf~.pd_darwin, 10): Library not loaded:
/Library/Pd/readanysf~/libspeex.1.dylib
  Referenced from: /Library/Pd/readanysf~/libavformat.52.dylib
Reason: Incompatible library version: libavformat.52.dylib requires version
7.0.0 or later, but libspeex.1.dylib provides version 4.0.0

anybody knows what can I do?

PD. I've downloaded the library from the author's page

Re: [PD] Pd-extended on Windows now has localization support

2012-12-03 Thread PSPunch

Japanese has just joined the team of 100%.

Only the following two were remaining.
- Realtime scheduling.
- Rest to default.

Please point out if what seemed straight forward, was untouched for any
historical reasons I was not aware of.

P.S.
I've been away from the list for a while... Hope all of you are well.

You can now use Pd-extended on Windows in many different languages! I didn't

are using a computer in a language other than United States English (there are
Canadian and Great Britain localizations as well).

The currently included languages are:

French (100% translated)
Italian (100% translated)
Canadian English (100% translated)
British English (100% translated)
Brazilian Portugeuse (100% translated)
Spanish (100% translated)

Gaelic/Scottish (62% translated)
Dutch (59% translated)
Portugeuse Portugeuse (58% translated)
Lithuanian (47% translated)
Russian (45% translated)
Swedish (43% translated)

Re: [PD] [readanysf~] on OS X

2012-12-03 Thread august

Hola José,

I just happened to have a mac with me today. I downloaded the bundle
and had the same problems. I'm not exactly sure how the libraries got
messed up like this, but it seems like a new build of libspeex with
-arch i386 was enough to get it going again.

I'm not exactly a mac guy, so please try the following build and let me
know if that works for you.

http://aug.ment.org/software/readanysf~0.43_MacOSX-Intel-speexupdate.tar.gz

I'd also love to hear about the radio work you do with readanysf.

suerte -august.
