[PD] ALSA output error (restart failed): Broken pipe
When I start and run Pd-Extended 0.43.4 I have this problem "ALSA output error (restart failed): Broken pipe". I've read some threads about other people with this problem, but nobody have a solution. I tried with this command "pauspender pd-extended" and the message and clicks don't stop. Using Jack i hear more clicks than ALSA. If someone have a tip for setting audio drivers in Linux, specially Jack publish it please. I've solved the problem in Pd-extended 0.43.4 loading path /usr/lib/pd-extended/extra/pdp Using this method it's possible to load composed abstractions like pdp_contrast. But in Pd Vanilla 0.43.0-4 pdp have conflicts with ligsl. I can't load pdp in Pure Data 0.43.0-4 and Pure Data 0.43.4-extended. I work with Ubuntustudio 12.04 running in an Acer Aspire One. I have this problem running Pd 0.4.3.1 in Ubuntustudio 12.04
When I start pd after set at startup preferences {-font-face "Droid Sans
Mono"} console show this message:
"WARNING: Font family '"Droid' not found, using default (DejaVu Sans Mono)

And when I try to change the settings, startup menu don't open dialog box
