Re: [PD] 0.43.2 on Mountain Lion
my own mac is 5 years old, running 5 point something I think and certainly unable to run the newest systems. I just sold my first mac that I got 5 years ago in august 2007 (at PdCon07 by the way). I know It can run 10.8. The one just before that cannot, but it goes up to 10.7 cheers ___ Pd-list@iem.at mailing list UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management - http://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-list
[PD] 0.43.2 on Mountain Lion
Hi Anyone running pd vanilla on OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion? I tried vanilla 0.43.2 and nothing works. I can't open patches, switch DSP on/off or even quit. With full logging I see the actions are requested but nothing happens after that. thanks -paul- ___ Pd-list@iem.at mailing list UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management - http://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-list

Re: [PD] 0.43.2 on Mountain Lion
it seems I have no built-in audio device which I didn't notice as I use an external sound card. So I guess I have bigger problems :S Thanks! -paul- On 15 August 2012 12:19, Jamie Bullock ja...@jamiebullock.com wrote: Hi Paul, On 15 Aug 2012, at 11:19, Paul Money p...@apfrod.com wrote: Hi Anyone running pd vanilla on OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion? Re: [PD] 0.43.2 on Mountain Lion
Drat... it looks like I have to get myself on a mountain lion machine and have a good look at all this. I doubt I'll be able to do this for the next couple of weeks (I'll be travelling) - my own mac is 5 years old, running 5 point something I think and certainly unable to run the newest systems. cheers Miller On Wed, Aug 15, 2012 at 03:48:01PM +0100, Joshan Mahmud wrote: Hi Paul I'm using pd vanilla on Lion and everything seems fine except that I can't generate a midi note (makenote-noteout) which ive posted a seperate issue about Cheers j On 15 Aug 2012, at 12:19, Jamie Bullock ja...@jamiebullock.com wrote: Hi Paul, On 15 Aug 2012, at 11:19, Paul Money p...@apfrod.com wrote: Hi Anyone running pd vanilla on OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion?
