Re: [PD] VJ tools using pure data on Mac
wow cool. should try it then. haven't got the time to play, too busy at the office. Anyway, while we're at it, can i use a USB camcorder to get image and edit it directly using GEM / Pd? I understand that USB web cam and Firewire based camera are supported, but I haven't got any information whether USB camcorder is also possible. It's kinda hard to get a cheap camcorder with firewire port these days :) Any info guys? So it use pix_freeframe for freeframe part and it works pretty well with pd-extended 0.42-5. The website is allmost complete and next week I'll present gemQ in Berlin during this festival: http://www.cannibalcaniche.com/festival/fest_berlin.htm So, every one of you is invited! husk -- mataharipertama.wordpress.com kotakmakan.multiply.com ___ Pd-list@iem.at mailing list UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management - http://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-list

Anything with a Quicktime vdig component will work in GEM. The range goes from $10 webcams to $100k HD cams. This looks like a version of Qeve, but qeve depends on freeframe, so I assume that pix_freeframe will need to be installed for it to work properly pp -Original Message- From: pd-list-boun...@iem.at [mailto:pd-list-boun...@iem.at] On Behalf Of Ben Baker-Smith Sent: Sunday, April 25, 2010 2:40 AM To: Adityo Pratomo; pd list Subject: Re: [PD] VJ tools using pure data on Mac that's nice, gemq. i'll try it. is it available for Mac? I used wget to grab all the files, I opened it and it loaded but threw a bunch of errors in the Pd terminal. I haven't actually tried it out yet, calling it a night now.
