Re: [PD] deken-plugin.conf
now it works! i was also tackling other problems with the different versions of Pd i'm using. a number of times i've done uninstall's & install's. also several cleanings of the windows register. so i cannot tell what did the trick. installpath D:/Pd-main/extra-deken is working for the downloading other formats produce the message: deken: No writeable directory found in: - C:/Users/Gebruiker/AppData/Roaming/Pd - C:/Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Pd - H:/PD-main/Pd-map/pd-0.46-7test.msw/pd/extra deken: Will not be able to download/install libraries however, the downloaded search-plugin appears only when it's placed in ..AppData/Pd the zexy library in ..AppData/Pd is not found automatically (with Vanilla 46.7) neither after setting a path in preferences. rolf ___ Pd-list@lists.iem.at mailing list UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management -> http://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-list

Did you verify that [atoi] actually comes from the deken installed zexy and not from Pd-extended's own zexy? > with vanilla 46.7 this works for a handfull of libraries i tried, like > list-abs, testtools, readdir, moocow, > BUT NOT for zexy. > deken gives 2 downloadables for zexy, both fail. Yes, there is a zexy (v0.0) ported from Pd-extended and a 'vanilla' zexy 2.2.6svn. It's important to know that - unlike the Pd-extended zexy - the vanilla zexy comes as multiple-objects-in-one-file library. This means you have to first [declare -stdlib zexy] or create [zexy] before you can successfully instantiate [atoi].
