We have parts

2016-04-21 Thread Paul Stenquist
The k-1 battery grip arrived today, along with an extra large wrist strap meant
to work with a big dslr plus battery grip. And the 24-70 and 150-450 DFA lenses
are ready to roll. Missing is the K-1, but I'll be somewhat ready when it shows
up. (I do still need the 15-30 and 80-200 DFA lenses. Maybe I should initiate a
kickstart campaign )

Arty? What arty?

It's at the Soviet War Memorial in Treptower Park in Berlin. (An amazing place.)

Ann, i just applied the latest Thunderbird update, but i don't have a
"Correspondents" column; i do believe you are seeing it — i learned
that it's a new feature combining From and To columns; so in the case
of your outgoing emails it is indicating that *you* sent to
*Pentax-Discuss*, and if you look closely there should be arrows
indicating the difference between outgoing and incoming

on my end, and most of our ends, we see it as coming from you, so your
mail hasn't changed, just the details of the Thunderbird interface

here's a blog post i found on getting the old behavior back:

Very pleased. Eekbay purchase arrived today - a 50/1.4 for 59 GBP. In
really nice condition. The odd spec of dust but everything works as it
should and in great cosmetic condition. There were Exc++ versions listed
for nearly twice this so am v v happy. Despite the smaller sensor, on
the Pen F it gives a delicious bokeh wide open so can't wait to do some
portraits.

Meanwhile, some camera porn:
