There's a group of arrows in the bottom left corner; clicking the right arrow
moves to the next slide.

Still can't make out the lurking Kraken. Only joking, Rick! Good for a
tourist brochure now. I have the 100-300 & see that it is rated about the
same as the 80-320 in the Pentax Lens Review Database. Well, I upgraded to
the HD 55-300 but actually find it no better in spite of it's glowing
review. I wonder about some of those reviews. The same goes for my 28-80
which is far better than the reviews would suggest.

Not a lot else to try without having the boat exiting the frame, or having
things look fuzzy (80-320 at 200mm and 1/60, and I'm not Steady Stenquist!).

Comments appreciated.

Hi Team,

It's been a while, looks like a missed a bit here. No K1 for me yet, still
slogging away with my K3,
hoping that the successor to the K3 bodies appears soon and with a sensor
similar to that in the K70
since my main body is approaching 200k shutter cycles and sounding a bit tired.

I spend most of my on-line time on FB now as that's where most of my
connections to work are but I'm
still happy that you are all here keeping the PDML's blood pumping, I do pop in
to read but I don't
get much of a chance to post these days.

OT Snake River Jump

2016-09-19 Thread Larry Colen
My friend Philip helped out on the Snake River Jump last week, and just
posted a flickr album with his notes.

https://www.flickr.com/photos/38458910@N02/sets/72157670732514664

I think that this is the pulse jet powered go kart that I got to drive
once, not quite 30 years ago:

https://www.flickr.com/photos/38458910@N02/29778284655/in/album-72157670732514664/
When I was turning it around at the end of the run, the rear brakes
locked up rather than just a U-turn, I can reasonably claim to have done
donuts in a jet powered go kart. That was fun.
