That’s nice. Music is perfect!

Just out of interest what app did you use with the iPad Pro for rendering?
Something other than iMovie?

I just bought the iPad Pro—love it! Got the pencil & smart keyboard as well!

I did all the usual drills, reboot, etc.. I use firefox for WORK and
Google chrome for Facebook... and go in and out of facebook often too...
as did he.

about to try again - but I've been checking every 45 minutes or so...

WWF you might just try a browser with one tab with WWF in it. And
reboot browser, i.e. restart it up. WWF is memory intensive and some
browsers don't clean up reused memory well, don't clean up after

I like the very last one in the full set the best, I think... which is
the one after the one you like best in the graying light .. but it's close
The color is pretty but getting closer to the wreck is more interesting

Re: Happy New, double-prime 2018!

I understand that, but Google Translate renders the English "I think not" as
"Non
puto" in Latin and renders the Latin "Non cogito" as "I don't think" in English.

I just don't remember enough high school Latin to get by without using Google.

Re: PDML Photo Annual #10 Coming in 2018

2018-01-01 Thread Godfrey DiGiorgi
My issue is that I went to Ricoh for the GXR, used mostly Voigtländer and Leica
lenses on that, and have since moved to primarily Leica lenses on Leica bodies.
I've sold off most of the other digital gear and never owned any Pentax film
gear other than the long gone 645.

Nowadays when I use film, it is Polaroid or Hasselblad, and when I shoot
digital it is nearly exclusively Leica. While I likely have a lot of older
photos from a decade ago with Pentax gear, I've already cherry-picked the best
and presented them. I'm much more interested in presenting what I'm working on
nowadays vs resurrecting what I was working on @ decade ago...

The average high temperature here for January is 51°F (0°C), but it's not

OTOH, a good cold winter means fewer fleas for pet owners to worry about next

Don't you think the count-down is a bit subtle and inconspicuous?

Happy New, double-prime 2018!

While 2017 was extremely prime year:

, the upcoming year is twice-prime:

Thank you, John for the heads-up!

I've marked my calendar...

Apparently January is going to be a unique opportunity for viewing lunar
activity.

The full moons on January 1 and January 31 will be the second and third of
three Super Moons in a row. The full moon on the 31st will also be the
second full moon in one month making it a "Blue Moon".

And it will also be a total lunar eclipse, visible from the western United
States to eastern Asia. Viewers in the eastern U.S. can see the beginnings
of it if they get up early in the morning just before the moon sets.
