The noise doesn't bother me that much.  I sometimes have good results with
the Neat Image as a plug-in for PhotoShop, but that may smooth out your
details a bit.

Very nice, Paul.  I like the clear details and the curving stem.  Looks
like it is exhausted from struggling out of the frozen ground.

We had a record cold March and April as well, but my daffodils are much
further along.  I have posted so many daffodil images in the past five
years that I am giving that subject a rest this year.

First Daffodil

Like much of the north central U.S., Michigan is experiencing it’s coldest 
April in more than a century. My Daffodils usually bloom around April 1. The 
first one bloomed today, and it is sheltered by the house. Most are nowhere 
near ready to bloom. But they’re always a delight, early or late.
