Selecting prints for a show
I've decided that I should put together a set of prints that I can show. I've also decided that my birthday party in a few weeks is as good of an excuse/opportunity to show off prints as I'm going to get, and would be good incentive to have a set in case I have an opportunity to do a real show. It's also nice that with metal prints I don't have to worry about mounting, frames etc. so this first one will be metal prints. I'm looking for help selecting candidates to select from, because as Mark noted earlier photographers are often the worst judges of their own work. I'm asking here because there are some awesome photographers here who have better than average taste, at least in terms of selecting and critiquing photos. My first pass of candidates are here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/sets/72157670417983657 My collection of monthly and annual favorites is at: https://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/collections/72157612824732477/ Other noteworthy photos are at: https://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/collections/72157643234594054/ -- Larry Colen l...@red4est.com http://red4est.com/lrc https://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/collections/72157612824732477/ -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.

Re: question about zooms and TCs
It only became possible to "set" the focal length in the camera after SR was implemented, Prior to that I don't think that Pentax or anyone else bothered since that was unimportant to the cameras ability to use the lens and being able to arbitrarily change the focal length in the EXIF could lead to unverified data being stored. Let's face it knowing the focal length doesn't change the exposure decisions the camera has to make. Re: question about zooms and TCs
Well that makes sense, the earlier TC was just passing information along for EXIF data, any newer TC would probably be taking IBIS into account with cameras that have that feature. The fact that it's also more accurate data even if the camera doesn't have that feature is secondary. On 8/17/2018 12:12 PM, Mark C wrote: I just tried my 1.7x adapter with K3 and DA16-45. Ricoh does some marketing and apparently has deals with B&H, Amazon and others to promote Pentax products. That’s efficient marketing. PPG is hugely inefficient.
