Of course. And that’s almost always the case. With chaos come flat screen TVs
and Ait Jordan’s. And the anarchists love it as well.

Particularly when times are as tough as they are right now.

Considering how perilously close we are to some terribly hazardous topics of
discussion, this might be a good time to all agree that things really suck and
move on to something we can all agree on, like slamming Kenny boy or something.

Yep. Didn’t someone say they saw Kenny boy coming out of Central with a new
Nikon?

That and a lot of opportunists who see this as an chance to steal stuff,
and hell not to mention some young men just like the sound of breaking
glass and the sight of flames...  I remember having those tendencies.

Apparently you missed it, he's already been charged with murder, he and
the three other cops involved have been fired, and they have been
charged as accessories.

Hi Everyone!

I hope you and your families are well and safe during these very difficult
times.

I thought I’d share a photography related story. Many of you probably know of
Central Camera store located downtown Chicago. It’s a quirky but fun camera
store, which has been in business for 121 years, founded 1899. Don Flesh is
the 3rd generation owner; his grand-father started the business; Flesh is aged
72.

Sadly, Central Camera suffered looting and was burned out. Flesh is confident
he can get the store back up and running, which is good. He is also not angry
and stands “with the African American community in solidarity.”

On the one hand I share this story because, well, this is a photography list
and this is a photography story and I thought photographers on the list would
be interested.

But on the other hand I thought I’d highlight two Flesh quotes that would have
definitely made our PDML Quote List that Mark Roberts puts together every year
had Flesh been a PDMLer.

Quote #1: “I wanted to go in, but the looters, there were so many people
walking by and I was a little bit shy and fearful and all I had was an umbrella
that was closed, and I didn’t think I could knock out everybody. No Rambo
here,” he said.

Quote #2: “Flesh started the live interview by noting that he had run out of
film and his phone had died so he was unable to photograph the scene. Asked
for his parting thoughts, he said, ‘I hope everybody is safe. Everybody should
learn a lesson. What is the lesson? Be prepared. Have more film in your
pocket.’”

I’ve included the link to the article below.

Since I once saw a robber fly attacking a damselfy I'm fascinated by
these killing machines.
There aren't many around that I can see, but today - a cold and wet day
- one was hiding on a leaf in the bushes.
Since this fly was not afraid of me I could get pretty close with the
