oh you mean in the cartoon?  The musroom has been anthropomorphised.. I 
had even thought of calling her Anita Mascara... but I decided that

was too far afield.

Into the 16th century, its genus name was Agaricus.  Became an Amanita late 
that century.

Fun cartooon. It does have a little typo. During my biology classes I
got a point substracted because I put two capitals in the species
name. Maybe mycologist only accept "Amanita mascara" for puns?

Really nice field guide shot of /Amanita Muscaria../ I know this one well..
I did a cartoon pun version... and called it "amanita mascara" and put 
it on t shirts and stuff in the cafe press market place - so far no buyers

guess they just didn't like my artwork or mycologists dont like puns. :-(
