Heh!

I use lenscaps as greycards for color balance. Being black they work quite
well for that, and I almost always have one handy when I’m taking photos.

Sometimes I try to do something artful, or at least humorous with my greycard
shots. In this case I just realized that the round shape worked well. To me it
was evocative of the Hot Wheels logo.

If you go to the end of the album, there is a photo showing the whole pan:

https://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/albums/72157717353749611

Long story short, last night I experimented with marinating chicken pieces in
pomegranate molasses, soy sauce, and a mixture of chilli pepper, then roasting
them.

When dinner was done, this is what the pan looked like.

https://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/50725465652/in/album-72157717353749611/

I wish I knew how it worked, I think it was an effect of caramelizing sugar and
a bit of oil.

Oh, by the way, the chicken was delicious. After it was done I marinated some
tri-tip (bottom sirloin) overnight in it and cooked that for dinner tonight.

The photo is showing only the top two stories of the 3-story house, so the
