Re: Pentax or Olympus?

2021-11-21 Thread wendy beard
I traded the last of my Pentax digital bodies and some lenses two
years ago for the OM-D EM II.
I have been hanging on to my 3 original limited lenses (31/43/77)
hoping that there would be a Pentax body down the line that I would
like to use with them. I have pretty much given up and might finally
sell them unless some fabulous deal comes along in the next week or
so.
I love the form factor of the Olympus but the AF doesn't hold a candle
to the Canon R6 (which I also have). I don't love the menu systems on
either camera. I find the Olympus worse than the Canon for that.

Don't know why as nobody outside this list ever complains to me about a
mail spam problem.

Chello is a old name of UPC cable provider, now fused here to VodafoneZiggo.
A few days ago I unsubscribed from pdml and resubscribed with my gmail
address so I thought hat would solved the problem.

I always found their super special sales offers to be much the same as
the usual street prices during the rest of the year.

So, I'd much rather let the good people at places like AC Foto make a
living from my purchases.

i and my son, along with six others had taken a birding trip last week
to desert national park, or dnp, in jaisalmer, rajasthan, in
northwest india, close to the pakistan border.

the dnp is a rather large park, situated in the thar desert and is home
to the critically endangered great indian bustard and has rich avian
life. we got to see and photograph a wide variety of birds but they are
still in the sd card. i'll post a GESO once the photos have been
processed. meanwhile a small selection of photos taken with the mobile
last 40 km or so were on road.
