Veso: T-bone and the Kalispell Fair - 1988
All the photos were taken with my trusty Pentax LX - Kodachrome's scanned on Epson flatbed v500 I made the vid in Windows Movie maker .. dropped in the music from an MP3 . Original guitar music by my friend Bob Zaidman - music recorded on tape back in the 70's - in a studio setting. Long story - I'll skip but it ws an impromtu performance by Bob on guitar and Dom Duval (sr.) on bass . Duval Sr. died in 2016. He had gone from the blues stuff to free style jazz and there are a lot of recordings around of him playing jazz. Bob had been sending me MP3's since we have been back in touch.. i really liked this piece they called "What you will" and thought the shots I took back in 1988 and the music paired nicely. The calf really was named "T-bone" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PI_LzE-HsJo=18s ann -- ann sanfedele photography https://annsan.smugmug.com https://www.cafepress.com/+ann-sanfedele+gifts https://www.lulu.com/spotlight/annsan https://www.createphotocalendars.com/Shop/annsanfedelecalendarsandbooks -- %(real_name)s Pentax-Discuss Mail List To unsubscribe send an email to pdml-le...@pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.

I have to admit that phones today are pretty darn good cameras. I don't have a K1, and I don't push the limits of my cameras too hard, but I'm reasonably sure that the M1X is at least as good as my K5 (and, most of the time, significantly better) for anything I ask it to do. The one thing I do occasionally miss is not having a second body. But as I only *had* to use a second body once in all the years (when my PZ-1p stopped working on a rainy day; the MX I had as a backup wasn't in the least bit bothered by getting rained on) I'm not losing a whole lot of sleep worrying too much about that. -- %(real_name)s Pentax-Discuss Mail List To unsubscribe send an email to pdml-le...@pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.

Basically I've got almost every bit of Pentax gear I've owned except for my first Pentax - a Spotmatic II with the 50mm/f1.4 - which went to a good home. Old film bodies (including 2 MXs), newer film bodies (a PZ-1p and an MZ-S), and a few digital bodies (*ist-D, K10D, K-5). There's also a whole raft of lenses of varying quality, and several less common items (like a motor drive for the MX). I'll post a full list once I've got round to digging through all the assorted boxes containing camera gear. I've been considering doing this for some time now, but it's hard to part with gear that has served me well. But I haven't touched any of the Pentax items for over a year, and my M1X outfit is a lot lighter to carry, and gives me a range from 12mm to 300mm focal lengths in just two lenses and one TC. -- %(real_name)s Pentax-Discuss Mail List To unsubscribe send an email to pdml-le...@pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
